Music from 'Los Angeles'

Just perfect for B&E.

And a little side note - if Chris Daughtry wasn't already hitched, I'd totally take him! ;)

Music from 'New Year, New Beginnings'

I'm not sure what it was that drew me to this song. I think essentially the concept of everyone changing, which is what's happening throughout the duration of the story.

Music from 'Seattle'

I love this band. And to me, this song just sounds sexy.

Hot Commodity - A bit o' Q & A

As promised, I'm here to answer a few of the more common questions I've been seeing crop up in Hot Commodity reviews lately. I don't want to give too much away, so I might be vague in some answers, or refuse to answer all together, but please understand that's because I don't want to spoil the story for anyone, not because I don't want to share. :)

Q: Do Rose and Alice Know about the bet?
A: No, no, and no! The three ladies are the best of friends, and if either Rose or Alice had knowledge about the bet, Bella would know as well. Not to mention the trouble those guys would be in...

Q: Has Edward forgotten about the bet?
A: I wouldn't say he's forgotten about the bet necessarily. You know the whole adage, "Out of sight out of mind?" That applies here. Edward has pushed the bet away, thinking if he avoids it then it's as if it never existed.

Q: Do the Cullen and Whitlock parents suspect anything?
A: Nope! Everything is smooth sailing as far as they know.

Q: Was the bet called off?
A: Yes. Jasper called the bet off in Chapter 11, and gave Edward the keys to the Hampton's house.

Q: How many chapters is the story going to be?
A: I'm giving a rough guesstimate here, but approximately 32 or 33 regular chapters, plus three epilogues. The actual chapter count could fluctuate, but the epis are set in stone. :)

Q: Is Edward still in love with Jessica?
A: Edward isn't necessarily in love with Jessica. He's more in love with the feelings that came from being in love with her. Which, as some of you may know, he's starting to experience with Bella. Now, that's not to say he realizes this. I can speak from personal experience when I say sometimes it's hard to tell whether we miss the person we were with or the feelings associated with the person. That's the place that Edward is at right now. Also, Jessica and Edward have both changed very much from when they were in college. Even if they did decide to give things a go again (which they won't, that I'm willing to divulge), it would never work out because at this point in their life they're very opposite people with very different wants for the future.

And last, but not least, and the one that seems to be on EVERYONE's mind....... (dun, dun, dun)

Q: Will the bet come out in the open?
A: I can't answer this one! Well, I could, but that would spoil the story for everyone, and I don't want to do that! What I can tell you is this: I am a fan of a HEA. Don't get me wrong, angst is my favorite genre to read, even when it all goes to hell at the end, but I personally am all about writing a happy ending for everyone. SO, just keep that in mind, okay?

I would love to answer anything else anyone wants to know, about any of my stories actually. When I write there's a million and one things going on in my head, and only about 1/10 of them actually make it into any given chapter. So, I could really sit here and elaborate for hours about every little detail, because they're all filed away and expounded on somewhere in a compartment in my brain. I know it doesn't interest everyone, but my stories and characters are special to me and I hold them very close to my heart. :)

Thanks for checking this out, and most of all, THANK YOU times infinity for reading my stuff. I can't even really express how it feels to read your feedback and know that someone out there aside from me cares about the words I write. :)
