I'm Nikki, or Blu in the world of fic. I'm a Midwest girl in my early 30s. I have two furry children, a cat who's convinced he's actually a human and a kitten who is too adorable for words and too sassy for his own good.
I enjoy baseball games, lattes, costume jewelry, farmers markets and traveling.
Writing is the air I breathe. Music is the blood that pumps through my veins. Together, they are my passion and my muse.
I was a bit late to the party when it comes to the world of fanfic, but I love both writing and reading it. Angst is my drug of choice. My favorite stories are the ones with damaged heros and heroines and tough-to-digest topics. And I love to make my own characters work to attain happiness. However, I do have a piece of my heart that's reserved for sugary sweet romance and HEAs. :)
Much of what I create is inspired by a song or a lyric. If you get to know me, you'll find that music is something that's changed my life. I enjoy all genres, but indie, country, and 90s alternative are my favorites.
I have a very healthy appreciation for everything and anything Robert Pattinson related. I fangirl hard and often, and I'm not ashamed of this.
Life is meant for living to the fullest. Live, laugh, love, drink up, dance with no abandon, sing at the top of your lungs, live with no regrets, and never pass up a chance that comes at you.
